The Large Key Clip is built for years of daily carry—cut from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, stitched entirely by hand, and fitted with a solid iron clip that keeps your keys secure, accessible, and close at hand.

Over time, the leather darkens, softens, and records the life lived with it.

Materials & Construction Full-grain leather, layered hand-stitched construction, and solid iron hardware.
MATERIALS & MAKING

Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, carefully cut, marked, folded, edge-finished, and saddle stitched by hand at the Charles & Thatch bench.

CONSTRUCTION

Substantial 6 oz. leather is folded over itself to create three layers at the clip. Durable braided polyester thread sits in recessed stitching channels that help protect it from everyday abrasion and wear.

HARDWARE

Spring-loaded solid iron clip and heavy-duty iron key ring, durably finished in brass or matte black.

PERSONALIZATION

Finished with one deeply pressed Charles & Thatch Mark or a set of initials. Every impression is made using our own custom-designed stamps—never off-the-shelf designs.

Care Care for the leather, let it age, and carry it for years.
Vegetable-tanned leather is built to be used, carried, and changed by time. It will soften, deepen in color, and record the marks of daily life along the way.

Keep it away from prolonged moisture, direct heat, and excessive sun. If it becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally—never use a hair dryer or other heat source.

Condition sparingly with a quality leather conditioner when the leather begins to feel dry. We use Smith’s Leather Balm. Treat it well, carry it often, and let the years do the rest.
